Blood Brothers last night was fun, too. Wasn't too keen on any of the opening bands, really. There were A LOT of damn kids there... that plus the venue (a Chinese dance club), and it looked like an emo prom. Sweeetttt. Bowman was grinding on me. Abba and I stole Josh's band name idea and ran with it. Josh got some girls crotches in his face. A lot of girls threw up. It was pretty gross. There was this 13 year old boy I wanted to ask to prom. He was already dressed in a suit. My hot stalker was there... oh, big surprise. He smiled at me. I was like WTF, STOP, YOU'RE TOO CUTE TO BE MY STALKER. It's starting to bother me, because I don't know what he wants from me. Forgot my camera. Damn. It was def a night of weird random photos.
Anyway, our band. We are The Bubblegum Kisses, and we play screamo dance music.
I AM GOING TO SEE JOHN KERRY AND BILL CLINTON ON MONDAY! So much hotness.

CMJ WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!
Every band was great, and I went with 3 of the most awesome girls ever + the 2 coolest parents ever (Kevin from Socratic's). We didn't have to wait out on line, and inside the club was tinnnyyy! It was a renovtaed church. How random.
An Angle - New band. Loooove them. Lead singer sound just like Conor, + I think he looks like someone I know, maybe. And they have an accordian player!!
Socratic - Piano rock, yay! They played really great. We danced a little. Kevin gave Shilo a birthday shout out from the stage!
I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business - It was Ace's first ever show solo. Awww! He brought in a string section. Bling bling. I thought I might not like him acoustic, but it's very very very pretty stuff.
Halifax - Cocky little bastards, but they're hawt and actually, their music is good.
Steel Train - This was actually one of my fave sets of the night. It was all just groovin' and sweet love makin'. We danced to "I Want You Back", and I kind of wanted to make out with every boy that was near me. I'm sorry, but Steel Train is sexy stuff.
Hellogoodbye - Stupid Jesse and his stupid laptop!! It froze up and he had to keep restarting, so they went on a little late and the set was cut a bit short. Oh well. It was still fun. Played Shimmy, Call n Return, Bonnie Taylor, All Time Lows, Homewrecker and Dear Jaime. I danced the whole time, and it was great because some other people did too. This boy next to me was grooving.
Hidden In Plain View - Okay by this time we were tired, so we went up to the balcony and chilled.
The Early November - Ahhh, cute as always. Smashed up their equipment at the end. Haha.
After the show was the afterparty, but it was pretty lame. MC Lars was there rapping, and there were a few Suicide Girls grinding with each other. They were way ugly though. So we went outside where most of the bands were hanging out. We sang happy birthday to Shilo because it was after midnight and the filming dude taped it. Hurray, we're now on some weird Drive Thru / MTV2 video. I WASN'T DRUNK. Oh man, but I saw so many people I knew which was weird. Fucking CHITTY and RYOHEI from Houston Calls. I wanted to jump them. I saw like 4 people from high school, which was lame. Haha, one was KATIE ALLAN. She's such a poser. Nia, remember her in Ruxxian class? She was so preppy, and she would hang out with the jocks. Now she thinks she's all uber-scene, but it's only cause she's dating Kyle and he runs a label.
Anyway, at like 3am or so we left and got food at a diner. Then it was back to the Bryan's house for sleeeppp. We got up at like noon, and cleaned their house! Haha. They were so awesome to us, so you know.
I'm back at Rowan now and in the middle of my 5 DAY WEEKEND!!
CMJ pics maybe tomorrow night? Well, whenever I get my cord in the mail. They're really stupid and blurry though.

Been a fun few days... yesterday I went over to Carissa and Amanda's townhouse with Brianne and Kim and we PAINTED. Then I went to a s000per boring dance play with Joe, but thankfully we made up for it with Harry Potter 3 later. They had a raffle and I won a DVD of "Soul Plane". Haha, I'm going to watch it once, and then sell it on ebay or something. Today I saw Matt... and then tonight Tanya and I ordered pizza and watched the holy "Supersize Me" DVD. We set out to work on our papers... she finished hers, and I did like two paragraphs. Oh, I am terrible!
I made pictures of me and Tanya as zombies though. She posted herself in her journal. Haha. That's productive.

I spent all weekend in the Venue offices doing photos/art for layout weekend. Many long hours staring at the computer, but it was cool because my BFF Joe was there and we made imaginary friendship bracelets, and I got Abba to make slutty faces.
I've been working for like, two and a half hours on this narrative essay that isn't going anywhere. I have no desire to write this stuff right now.

This weekend was great, and I'm not too behind on my homework, either. I par-tayyed all weekend with Brianne, Carissa, Kim and Shilo, and spent ALL DAY Friday with my new bFF Joe and Jon (we hiked through the woods, broke into buildings and made friends with the Bunce ghost!). And yesterday Bri, Cris and I had our super picnic, even though bees totally crashed it.

Oh speaking of Shilo, we're totally ditching classes Oct 13 to go to NYC and see THE EARLY NOVEMBER, HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW, HALIFAX, SOCRATIC, I CAN MAKE A MESS LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS, and oh, what was that? HELLOGOODBYE!!!!! That's a totally valid reason to miss three classes.

Yesterday Brett and Tre randomly showed up outside my window, and we went to Philly.
They took my Taco Bell virginity here. I didn't order anything because I was a little afraid of the employees.
We went to an over-priced vintage store and Tre rocked some old lady fur.
And then we saw this cool Pagoda thing.
Then later sucked, but I found Brianne and hung out with her, Shiloh and Danielle (and her also-sexiled bf) and we watched "Pretty In Pink", and now that's like my new fave movie. I don't know why I decided to love the 80s so much all of a sudden.
Today was crappy too, because all I seemed to do was go to class all day. I hate walls, and I also hate telephone lines. I don't know why I just end up saying the worst things ever, but I do. It's freezing in here, and I'd like to curl up in bed and sleep all through tomorrow, but at the same time, I'm not so much in the mood for it to be morning, so I don't think I'll sleep. I have some reading to do anyway. That's right, bury myself in work... ha, like that ever works. I have a lot of crap work to do tomorrow. Can it be the weekend, already? At least that will be fun, because there are awesome plans in the works.

This weekend has been fun.
Yesterday I watched Ali G all day, and then went out with Shiloh at night.
I have some reading to do for bFF Penrod's class Tuesday, but you know, I'm going to be kicked out today so I might as well do it then.

So I got an email from Len, and there is definetly going to be a HBMLP reunion (the program I was on... the reason I went to Taiwan... you know this) October 29 - 31 in NY!!! So far I'll get to see him, Mike ("Bu Hao") and even Jacob is flying out of freakin' California! Oh, and Yifa! I really hope everyone awesome comes. I miss miss miss those people so freakin much.
I'M SO EXCITED!
Theresa, the invitation is being extended to our friends who are interested in Buddhism and stuff, and so if you'd like to come with me I'll email you the info :] There's going to be meditation and Taichi and it'll probably be like a weekend version of what we did at the temple.
Why am I burnt out of school already, when I've only been here a little over two weeks? I wish I could drop a class. But then I just think it's a challenge, and I don't want to pussy out. If I can manage a good GPA, I'll give myself a pat on the back.
This song makes me think that I live in a castle in a Nintendo game. I like that.
The Comcast van is here again, but I doubt they will fix anything.
